Deputy Prime Minister His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa today received the Malaysian Ambassador to Bahrain, Ajus Salim Haji Yusof.
HH Shaikh Mohammed welcomed the Malaysian ambassador, wishing the recently-accredited ambassador success in his diplomatic duties and commended Bahrain-Malaysia cooperation ties in various fields consolidated by the visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa last May, and stressing the importance of building on what has been achieved in order to further boost and develop these ties in the interest of both friendly countries.
For his part, the ambassador expressed his gratitude and appreciation to His Highness for his welcoming reception and diligence on boosting the level of existing relations between the two countries.
The ambassador assured that he will strive as ambassador of his country to further boost these ties in all fields.
