HRH Premier hails US strategy

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today outgoing US Ambassador to Bahrain William Roebuck. He lauded the US strategy that was announced recently by President Donald Trump, underlining its importance in boosting security and stability and backing counterterrorism efforts to ensure a better life for the countries and peoples in the region.

HRH the Prime Minister praised the efforts of the US ambassador in bolstering bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation, wishing him every success in his future duties. He affirmed that the Bahraini-US relations are based on mutual respect and keen desire to build a strong and distinguished model of cooperation and understanding regarding many issues of common interest. He stressed the outstanding and ever-growing historic relations between both countries thanks to mutual keenness to foster them and serve common interests. He also underscored the need to further promote bilateral cooperation to bolster regional security and stability and achieve common aspirations mainly in the economic, commercial and investment fields.

The US ambassador expressed thanks and respect to HRH the Premier for his keenness to further boost relations between the two friendly countries, commending cooperation of all government institutions which mirrors deep-rooted historic ties binding the two friendly countries
