
Prime Minister Sherif Ismail stressed on Tuesday the importance of benefiting from the River Nile as a means in goods transfer.
In a meeting with the ministers of environment, petroleum and transport, Ismail asserted the necessity of committing to environment and health requirements and standards in the transfer of petroleum goods and products via the Nile.
He assigned to conduct a study on the hazards of the loading and unloading stations of the petroleum products to achieve the highest degree of safety.
He called for preparing a feasibility study on the river transfer project and enforcing all governing environment and health requirements.
