Jordanian Prime Minister Hani al Mulki
Cairo - Egypt Today

Jordanian Prime Minister Hani al Mulki said his country is looking forward to establishing strategic projects with Egypt.
Addressing the Egyptian-Jordanian Higher Committee on Thursday, he said the committee has largely contributed to promoting economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
He welcomed Egyptian Prime Minister Sherif Ismail who came to Jordan to attend the joint committee meeting, highlighting the depth of bilateral ties.
Thanks to the decisions taken during the 2016 committee meeting, trade exchange between the two countries hit 200 million dollars in the first four months of 2017, he said.
In 2016, trade exchange between the two countries stood at 550 million dollars, he added.
Mulki urged both private and public sectors of Egypt and Jordan to shoulder responsibility for trade exchange to reach the aspired level.
He voiced hope that the committee meeting would come up with positive results that bolster trade and investment cooperation between the private sectors of both countries.
The two countries are expected sign seven cooperation agreements by the end of the committee meetings.
The seven agreements include cooperation in the consular domain as well as in small sized enterprises, education and pharmaceutical scores.
Also, the Egyptian and Jordanian bourses will sign a cooperation agreement.
