Prime Minister Sherif Ismail held a ministerial meeting to discuss the ongoing preparations for Eidul Adha so as to make sure that the basic commodities especially meat are available with low prices to fulfill the needs of the citizens.

During the get-together which was held at the cabinet headquarters on Sunday, the premier stressed the importance of intensifying monitoring measures and following up markets by the concerned bodies.

The meeting was attended by the ministers of planning, social solidarity, trade and industry as well as the secretary general of the Social Fund for Development and the executive director of Long Live Egypt Fund.
