
Prime Minister Sherif Ismail has ordered the formation of a ministerial working group to discuss and review the final amendments to a draft law regulating trade union organizations.
After finalizing its work, the working group will present the final amendments to the cabinet ahead of referring them to the House of Representatives.
In a statement, the cabinet said the bill aims at protecting the workers' rights.
The working group involves the ministers of military production, justice, finance, public business sector and social solidarity, the statement said.
The manpower minister is the group's rapporteur, according to the statement.
