The Egyptian national football team climbed three positions in FIFA monthly ranking to become number 1 at the African and Arab levels and 23 at the international level after reaching the 2017 African Cup of Nations final.
The Pharaohs got 904 points for their performance in the African Cup of Nations final, which they lost to Cameron 2-1 in February.
