His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, surprised students in a school in Abu Dhabi as they began their first day.

In a Twitter post, Sheikh Mohamed is seen seated in a classroom at Al Asayel school alongside several students during a lesson. He was also briefed on the progress made on the education sector.

During his visit, he conversed and interacted with both the students and the teachers.

Earlier, Sheikh Mohamed took to Twitter to give some valuable advice to students.

"My dear students, capture the knowledge of science, good morals and commit yourself to high ethics and strengthen them in your hearts. Attain your academic excellence with hard work and perseverance, for excellence is our demand and goal on the path to success," he tweeted. "Looking forward to the educational process that promotes learning, thinking and creativity. Let us continue to contribute to society to help encourage students towards achieving their dreams and aspirations."
