Sports minister launches bicycles marathon in New Valley

The 10-km bicycles marathon started from the village of Jeddah and ended at the horse riding club in New Valley, as a number of residents of the governorate took part in the marathon, in addition to members of the Egyptian Cycling Federation.
Meanwhile, athletes of Al Ahly club and a number of young people from Qena and Sohag governorates participated in the 5 km cross country running race, which started from the village of Gormshen 7 and ended at the horse riding club.
Both events were organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in cooperation with the Egyptian Athletics Sports Federation.
