20 female foreigners arrested in Mosul over joining Daesh

Iraqi security forces have arrested 20 female foreigners, including five Germans, in Mosul city over charges of joining Daesh terrorist group, Germany's Die Welt paper reported.
One of the Germans does not speak Arabic, but she had joined Daesh and fought with its militants after finishing her studies, the paper said.
According to an Iraqi officer, the 20 foreigners are from different countries, including Turkey, Canada and Chechnya.
They were hiding in a hotel, where they were arrested with weapons and explosive belts in their possession.
