Counter-terrorism to figure high in PA-UfM meeting agendar

Egypt’s Parliament Speaker Ali Abdel Aal on Saturday said that fighting terrorism eill figure high in agenda of the meeting of the Union for the Mediterranean Parliamentary Assembly (PA-UfM).
Abdel Aal made the remarks while chairing the first meeting the plenary office of the PA-UfM.
Representatives from Italian and Turkish parliaments attended the get-together along with heads of the assembly’s committees.
In a statement by the Egyptian House of Representatives, Abdel Aal added the meeting tackled the establishment of a secretariat for the assembly in the coming period.
The secretariat HQ will be set up in Barcelona.
