UAE Ambassador to India Dr. Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Banna has met with Chandrajit Banerjee, Director-General of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and discussed means of strengthening economic and commercial relations between the UAE and India.
Ambassador Al Banna praised the longstanding partnership with the CII and the latter's contribution to raising the levels of bilateral trade and cross-investments between the UAE and India, UAE News Agency (WAM) reported.
He added that he was confident the recent opening of a CII chapter in Dubai would further enhance trade and investments in the region.
