Quality services to citizens discussed

Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received House of Representatives members (MPs) Hamad Al Dosari and Fatima Al-Asfoor to review a number of topics related to electricity and water and services provided to citizens and residents.
The minister welcomed both MPs and praised their efforts to discuss issues affecting citizens and the cooperation between the executive and the legislative authority in achieving their aspirations.
The next phase and plans to improve quality of services provided by the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA), latest developments in renewable energy projects of the Sustainable Energy, as well as steps taken to promote investments in solar energy were discussed.
The two MPs praised the minister’s and officials’ efforts to improve the quality of services, and stressed that means of communication and continuous meetings between the executive and legislative authority would result in achieving many developmental aspects.
The meeting was attended by Acting Director of the Sustainable Energy Unit Dr. Khalid Ahmed Bouradash.
