Attorney General Dr. Ali bin Fadhul Al Buainain today received Palestinian Attorney General Ahmed Mohammed Al-Barrak, and his accompanying delegation.
The delegation’s visit comes to explore aspects of the Palestinian Public Prosecution’s cooperation and exchange of expertise with the Kingdom’s Public Prosecution.
The two sides signed a memorandum of understanding regarding international cooperation between the two prosecutions regarding the cooperation and exchange of judicial assistance, expertise and capabilities development.
Bahrain’s Attorney General Dr. Ali bin Fadhul Al Buainain delivered a speech on this occasion in which he said that the MoU was signed as part of activation of judicial cooperation in all aspects to ensure decisive combating the impact of crime particularly terror crimes, corruption, trafficking in persons, cybercrime and to exchange information required for criminal procedures and implementation of assistance requests in accordance with national laws as well as training and exchange of expertise to attain best practices in the field of investigation and prosecution.
The Palestinian Attorney General Dr. Ahmed Al-Barrak expressed his delight for signing the memorandum of understanding with the Kingdom’s Public Prosecution aimed to boost the cooperation between the two countries’ prosecutions to confront dangerous crimes and to develop capacities of prosecution members.
