Egypt, Jordan discuss enhancing cooperation in military

State Minister for Military Production Mohamed el Assar discussed with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordanian Armed Forces Mahmoud Freihat boosting bilateral cooperation in the military and civilian industries and technological production fields.
During their meeting on Monday, Assar welcomed Freihat and his accompanying delegation, expressing the Military Production Ministry's keenness on strengthening ties with the Jordanian side in light of friendly and brotherly ties between President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Jordanian King Abdullah II.
Assar also reviewed with the Jordanian side defense equipment manufactured by the companies, affiliated to the Military Production Ministry.
For his part, Freihat commended tremendous potentials of the Egyptian Military Production Ministry and its role in catering for the Armed Forces' demands.
