Dubai - Egypt Today

Careem, the Dubai-based private ride-hailing app, has introduced lower pricing for their 'Kids' service which provides a universal child car seat in every car.
Launched in 2014, Careem Kids offers parents the security of having a pre-installed child car seat, suitable for infants up to 30kg and a driver who is trained on how to alter the settings according to the child's age.
The new pricing comes into play on Wednesday and is aimed at opening up the service to more families so that they can make the safest choice when choosing to book a private car to get around with young children.
The average ride using Careem Kids will fall by approximately 10-15 per cent from the previous pricing and will be applicable to both instant and scheduled bookings.
Currently, the offering is available in Dubai only, but there are plans to introduce the service in Abu Dhabi to help cater for families living and visiting the capital.
The service is typically used by families travelling to and from Dubai airport as well as for school runs where a nanny might accompany a child under 12 years.
