AL chief asserts full support to Kuwait’s mediation in Qatari crisis

Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit asserted his full support to Kuwait’s mediation in the Qatari crisis, AL Spokesman Mahmoud Afifi said.
This came during his meeting on Monday with Kuwaiti First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sabah Al Khalid Al Sabah.
In a press release, Afifi said the meeting discussed the latest developments in the Arab region.
During the meeting, the minister asserted his country’s support to Aboul Gheit and the pan-Arab organization especially amid the challenges facing the region in the current period.
They also discussed the recent developments concerning the Palestinian cause as well as the situation in Yemen, Syria, Libya and Iraq and also the finical crisis facing the Arab League.
