Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Tuesday received President of Mali Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, who is currently on a working visit to the UAE, the official WAM reported.
The two sides discussed bilateral relations and cooperation between the UAE and Mali, and means of boosting them to achieve the common interests of the two countries and peoples.
During the meeting, they also discussed a number of common ideas related to the development of the existing fields of cooperation between the two countries, especially the economic and development fields.
Sheikh Mohamed emphasized the UAE's keenness to strengthen bilateral relations with friendly African countries and to develop these relationships to achieve mutual interests, noting that the UAE and Mali have good and distinguished relations.
He added that there are many broad areas for cooperation between the two countries and various opportunities for building partnerships that serve the construction and development efforts.
The Malian President affirmed his country's keenness to advance bilateral relations to a higher level. 
He appreciated the UAE's support to the economic development drive in his country.
The two sides also exchanged views on regional and international developments in the region.
