The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, met with the People's Republic of China’s Special Envoy on the Middle East Issue, Ambassador Gong Xiaosheng, on the occasion of his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain to participate in the 14th session of Manama Dialogue.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs welcomed China’s Special Envoy to the Middle East Issue, and praised the historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the People's Republic of China, affirming their constant progress which reflects their shared will and constant efforts to promote relations and strengthen cooperation and joint coordination.
The Minister also commended the efforts made by the People's Republic of China to maintain development, security and stability in the region and the world.
Ambassador Gong Xiaosheng stressed the keenness of the People's Republic of China to enhance friendly relations and expand cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain at all levels, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity. (MOFA)
