The Afghan security forces on Friday conducted air and artillery strikes on Taliban outposts in southern Helmand province of Afghanistan, leaving several militants dead.
At least eleven Taliban insurgents were killed during the operations, Khama Press news agency reported, quoting a statement by provincial government media office as saying.
Artillery units hit the hideouts of the Taliban group in Greshk district of Helmand, killing six insurgents.
