Elie Saab Haute Launches Perfume during Paris Couture Week

Elie Saab has entered the world of fragrance and last night was the launch just after his well received Haute Couture Show 2011. The most sought after model Anja Rubik is the face of Saab’s first ever fragrance. Large billboard posters show her in a gold billowing chiffon creation of his photographed by  Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Although the room was filled with many known international names in the industry Saab made time for everyone. In 2002 hewas the first ever Lebanese designer to dress at the Oscars. Oscar winning actress Halle Berry was later all over the tabloids in his burgundy lace embroidered dress, which introduced his name to the world. In 2003, the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture invited him to become a member. Since then he has been showing twice a year a couture collection which has his signature jewel like gowns. The perfume was created in partnership with Beaute Prestige International who also created fragrances for Jean Paul Gaultier, Issey Miyake, Narciso Rodriguez. Check out more images from the evening
