The Qatar Exchange in the green area Thursday adding 59.56 points or 0.71% to 8,400.40 points from the previous closing of 8,381.39. The volume of shares traded was up to 6,488,372 from 4,759,175 on Wednesday and the value of shares was increased to QR227,760,891.32 from QR180,186,280.54 Wednesday. Top gainers were Industries Qatar which was up 1.51% to QR141.10,Masref Al Rayan rose 1.76% to QR23.16, Qatar Telecom gained 1.94% to QR158.00 and Electricity & Water up by 2.26% to QR145.00. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector added 64.63 and the Insurance sector lost 34.57 points. The Qatar industrial sector gained 102.62 points and the Services sector was up 49.10 points.
