Maziad Alharbi, chief technology officer at Mobily, was honored with Operator CTO of the year award in Dubai Monday.
Organized by KNcet365 TMT, the 5G MENA Awards 2017 ceremony was attended by key figures and pioneer companies in the telecom and IT sector from the Gulf region, Middle East and North Africa.
Maziad was recognized for his efforts as one of the major technology leaders in the region, his role in recent developments in the 4G network, his participation in activating the pre 5G network in Mobily and developing innovative experiments of the 5G network.
The 5G MENA ceremony gathers telecom operators, solution providers, IoT specialists from all over the region to discuss new business models and support the technical revolution toward the advanced 4G network LET-A, Internet of Things, Smart Cities, and 5G network.
