Unified law on tax procedures to be issued soon

The Finance Ministry is currently drafting a unified law on tax procedures to be issued soon, said Deputy Finance Minister Amr Al Menayar.
The law is meant to eliminate the problems caused by the conflict in tax procedures of the different tax laws, namely the income and the value-added tax laws.
The ministry also seeks issuing a unified law on customs to reduce rate of customs duty evasion, he added.
