Finance Ministry auctions EGP 1.7bn T-bonds

The Finance Ministry auctioned on Monday treasury bonds at a total value of EGP 1.7 billion.
In an online statement, the ministry said it sold one billion pounds of 3-year bonds.
The average yield was 18.652 percent, it said, adding it accepted bids at rates between 18.68 percent and 18.6 percent.
It also sold EGP 750 million of 7-year bonds that had a coupon of 18.596 percent.
The yield ranged between 18.65 and 18.4 percent.
