Syria government: Missing Canadian UN staffer freed

Syria's government said Thursday it has turned over a Canadian UN staffer missing since February to the UN's representative in Damascus, accusing rebels of having kidnapped him. The man, who the Syrian authorities named as Carl Campeau, went missing in February between Israel and Syria, reportedly while patrolling the ceasefire line between the countries in the Golan Heights.
