South Africa central bank governor to step down

South Africa's Reserve Bank governor Gill Marcus on Thursday announced that she will not seek to stay in the job after her term expires later this year.
"I will not be available for renewal" said Marcus, who has led the bank since 2009, after what she declared was her last meeting of the bank's interest rate-setting panel.
