Police: 1 dead in fresh Myanmar communal unrest

Fresh communal violence broke out in western Myanmar Tuesday with one Muslim woman killed and homes set on fire as President Thein Sein made a rare visit to the troubled region, police said "An old woman was killed during the clashes and houses were burned," a police official told AFP after the clashes in the Thandwe area of Rakhine state, requesting anonymity.
