Pakistan government, protesters begin talks to end political crisis

Pakistani government ministers and opposition politicians on Wednesday met protesters demanding the prime minister quit, in a bid to end a destabilising political crisis.
The delegation met representatives of populist cleric Tahir-ul-Qadri, thousands of whose followers are protesting outside parliament to try to bring down the government.
