Madagascar authorities order curfew after mob lynchings

Madagascar's government ordered a curfew Friday on the island where an angry mob lynched and burnt three men they suspected to have killed a local boy. "The district has established a curfew from 21:00 to 04:00 in the morning at Nosy Be," said the communication ministry in a statement, adding that officials would systematically check the papers of all foreigners on the resort island.
