Israel freezes Palestinian tax funds over ICC bid

Israel is freezing the transfer to the Palestinians of taxes it collects on their behalf in retaliation for their bid to join the International Criminal Court, an official confirmed Saturday.
The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, would not comment further on the matter, which was reported earlier by the Haaretz newspaper.
