Eurozone inflation falls to 0.7%, lowest since end 2009

The annual rate of inflation across the 17-country eurozone is expected to fall to 0.7 percent in October, its lowest since November 2009, according to Eurostat, the EU's data agency. The rate fell from 1.1 percent in September, and was announced a day after Spanish data indicated a drop into deflationary territory.
