14 bodies recovered in Italy migrant boat incident

At least 14 asylum-seekers drowned and 120 were rescued after a boat carrying an estimated 500 people caught fire and capsized near a tiny Italian island, media reports and officials said. Emergency officials were trying to pluck more survivors out of the water after the incident, which happened around half a mile (about one kilometre) from the shore of Lampedusa.
