Chevrolet Bolt: Chosen as car of 2016 in US
Riyadh - Arab Today

A number of journalists from Saudi Arabia lived a unique experience, when they had the opportunity to take part in the World Rally Championship (WRC), for a short period as co-pilots.
Hyundai directed its dealers in Saudi Arabia, Mohammed Yousef Naghi Motors Company, Wallan Trading Company and Almajdouie Motors, to host a group of journalists to live the co-driver experience coaching the line-up for the 2017 WRC champion, the Belgian rally driver, Thierry Neuville.

• Chevrolet Bolt EV — the all-new affordable electric vehicle offering an EPA-estimated 238 miles of range on a full charge — has been chosen as the 2017 Car of the Year by US based Motor Trend.
The judges based their selection on the Bolt EV’s performance in six evaluation categories: advancement in design, engineering excellence, efficiency, safety, value and performance of intended function.
“Chevrolet is the fastest-growing full-line retail brand in the industry thanks to an exceptional vehicle lineup, which includes ground-breaking products like the Bolt EV,” said Alan Batey, president of GM North America and Global Chevrolet brand chief.

• United Motors Company UMC the authorized distributer of Dodge cars in Saudi Arabia recently hosted the launch of the world’s C segment car, the new Dodge Neon’s, in three regions of Saudi Arabia (Riyadh, Jeddah and Alkhobar).
After the Launch, UMC gave the chance for the media to test drive the new Dodge Neon to evaluate the performance and aerodynamic of the car.
Combining high levels of comfort, exceptional roominess and a comprehensive range of standard features and safety equipment, the all-new 2017 Dodge Neon — powered by a proven, fuel-efficient 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine coupled to a six-speed automatic gearbox — is a new breed of compact sedan.
As well as offering exceptional value for money, it brings innovation and stand-out styling to the compact sedan segment.

• Aljabr Automotive Company, the agents of KIA Motors in Saudi Arabia has successfully concluded the season of testing the driving of its 2017 model year vehicles.
The company has executed a tour to most cities and regions of the Kingdom over a period of seven months.
Clients lived the experiences of test driving Kia models in the cities of Riyadh, Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah, Dammam, Abha, Qassim, and Al-Ahsa.
Prime locations in the major commercial malls were selected in the cities to establish the events of testing and experiencing driving under the supervision of a specialized team of the company.
The number of clients participated in these trials was 7500 participants.
Mohammed Ibrahim Aljabr, sales general Manager confirmed that test driving is not limited to these tours, but is also open to all who wish to test KIA vehicles by visiting KIA showrooms.
