The National Congress Party(NCP) has formed central committee and subcommittees as well as Operations Room for delivering assistance to refugees who fled famine and war in State of South Sudan and to the famine-affected people inside South Sudan.
This came, Friday in meeting of the NCP's Economic and Social Affairs Sectors, which was chaired by Head of the Party' Sector of Thought, Culture and Community Affairs, Dr Entisar Abu Najma.
Dr Abu Najma said in press statements after the meeting that the meeting of the two sectors aimed to stand on huge efforts being made by the NCP in response to call made by the South Sudanese people to confront the famine threating refugees.
She added the NCP Response was normal due to deep-rooted ties between the two people and that providing relief and food for the needy was one of high value of the Sudanese people , individuals and communities.
Abu Najma further added the Operation Room would follow up provision of assistance and aid to people inside borders of State of South Sudan.
