The FIFA U-20 World Cup Turkey 2013 will move a step closer when the Official Mascot is announced on Monday. The Turkey 2013 Official Mascot announcement will take place in Istanbul in a historic Ottoman mansion known as Esma Sultan, and will be broadcast live in Turkey on TRT. In attendance will be Turkey Football Federation (TFF) President Yildirim Demiroren, TFF Executive Board members, TFF General Secretary Prof. Dr. Emre Alkin, Turkey senior team Head Coach Abdullah Avci, Turkey U-21 Head Coach Tolunay Kafkas, Turkey U-20 Head Coach Feyyaz Uçar, Turkey senior and U-20 National Team players, plus representatives from Turkey’s sports and art fraternity. The 24-team FIFA U-20 World Cup, which will be the biggest international football tournament that Turkey hosted, will be played in seven cities including Antalya, Bursa, Gaziantep, Istanbul, Kayseri, Rize and Trabzon between 21 June - 13 July 2013.
