The last leg of 2012’s Host City tours will take FIFA Secretary General Jérôme Valcke, Bebeto and Ronaldo, Members of the Board of Administration of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) and Brazil’s Sports Minister Aldo Rebelo to Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba and São Paulo. The tour starts on Monday 26 November, in Rio de Janeiro. The delegation will visit the world famous Maracanã, which will stage the Finals of the FIFA Confederations Cup Brazil 2013 and the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™. The iconic arena hosted the concluding matches to the FIFA World Cup in 1950 and the FIFA Club World Cup in 2000. The next stop, on 27 November, will be Curitiba. Mayor Luciano Ducci and Vice-Governor Flávio Arns will showcase the delegation their renowned public transportation system by using a hybribus, an eco-friendly bus made in Brazil running on electricity and biofuel, on the way to the stadium. Following a update presentation the stadium will be visited. The tour will end on 28 November in São Paulo, also venue of the FIFA Confederations Cup draw on 1 December 2012. Valcke, Ronaldo, Bebeto and Rebelo will be accompanied by LOC President José Maria Marin, FIFA Executive Committee Member Marco Polo Del Nero and Mayor Gilberto Kassab in the visit to the venue of the 2014 FIFA World Cup opening match, before heading to the LOC Board meeting later in the afternoon at the Anhembi Convention Centre.
