Toluca surrendered a lead at 10-man Monterrey but still went top of the Apertura table on goal difference with a 2-2 draw on Wednesday. Toluca fell behind in the first minute thanks to Humberto Suazo's goal, but went in at half-time in the lead after Carlos Rodriguez levelled from the penalty spot in the 20th minute and Edgar Benitez completed the turnaround three minutes later. Things looked bad for Monterrey when Jose Maria Basanta saw red in the 62nd minute but Suazo grabbed his second from the spot 15 minutes from the end to ensure the points were shared. It means with one round of Apertura matches remaining, one point separates the top four. From Fifa
