Trainer Bolger lands fourth success at Britain's prestigious event for juvenile horses. Long-shot Parish Hall won a thrilling renewal of the Dubai Dewhurst Stakes (Group 1) to burst into the Classic picture at Newmarket racecourse yesterday.Ridden by Kevin Manning, the two-year-old son of Teofilo held off 15/8 favourite Power, the mount of Ryan Moore, who denied the Frankie Dettori-ridden Most Improved the second place by a head.It was trainer Jim Bolger's fourth success in the Dewhurst, Britain's most prestigious event for juvenile horses. Parish Hall was being quoted at odds of 25-1 for the Epsom Derby and 2,000 Guineas.Bolger, one of the racing greats in Ireland, commented: "He's run into soft ground a couple of times and that's no good for him, he can't handle that. He's up there with my three previous winners of this race (his sire Teofilo, New Approach and Intense Focus) and that will be it for the year. I'm not sure he'd come back for the Guineas but he has as good a chance as New Approach had of staying a mile-and-a-half."He's a very sound horse and I'd be thinking of Epsom for him — and after that the Curragh."Earlier 25-1 chance Crusade landed, ridden by Seamie Heffernan, won the Group One Middle Park Stakes. Trained by Aidan O'Brien, the winner score by three-quarters-of-a-length from Lilbourne Lad while Reply finished third.Leading trainer Richard Hannon's Strong Suit was a comfortable winner of the opening Burj Khalifa Challenge Stakes (Group 2).
