His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the representative of HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, praised the first media forum organized by Bahrain Football Association titled “Together for an integrated football media.”

HH Shaikh Nasser said these initiatives offer special opportunity to come up with recommendations to uplift the professional standard of Bahraini sports in general and football in particular.

The sports media forum has attracted the participation of various media sectors and sports journalists. The forum provided the opportunity for participants to exchange developmental concepts, views and suggestions and to set up integrated media plans that contribute in boosting the football sector, supporting the national teams and local clubs, urging to repeat such forums for their positive role in boosting and promoting local sports.

HH Shaikh Nasser commended the forum organized by Bahrain Football Association reflects its belief in the pivotal role played by the media establishments in development and growth of local sports through the showcasing of major sports activities, spreading the culture of professional sports in the community circles.

The forum also discussed various issues and suggested solutions that will assist the official bodies in taking their decisions in to boost the integrated developmental process among the various relevant bodies, affirming that the media nowadays has become an essential partner for the development of sports.

HH Shaikh Nasser praised the efforts of Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa the President of Bahrain Football Association and all members of the association and its employees in coming up with developmental initiatives that will boost the football sector and promote the culture and professional trend of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s football.
