Scan Pyramid to explore 4 Pyramids

Minister of Antiquities Dr Mamdouh el Damati said 2016 will be the year of the Pyramids as an international scientific project to explore the Pyramids will be launched.
The Scan Pyramid project aims at getting into the heart of the Pyramids to explore them without digging using the latest technology, he said during a joint press conference with Minister of Tourism Hisham Zaazou on Sunday.
The project will shed light on four of the most important antiquities of the fourth Dynasty (2465-2575 B.C.) in Dahshour, 15 km south of Sakkara, he said.
