Students took part in educational tours
Dubia - Egypt Today

Students took part in educational tours of Abu Dhabi Art, where they explored various installations and artworks at Manarat Al Saadiyat.

Led by teachers, professors and Abu Dhabi Art tour guides, the students embarked on a journey witnessing curated exhibitions and innovative artworks from some of the UAE and the world's biggest names in artistic and cultural expression.

The tour created an opportunity for students to engage directly with the artists and curators, and gain first-hand insight into the inspiration and origins of the extraordinary exhibitions and event programming.

The 2017 edition of Abu Dhabi Art had also attracted visits from leading local and international cultural figures including Noura Al Kaabi, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, who toured the fair's galleries, exhibitions, and workshop spaces. Jack Lang, president of Institut du Monde Arabe and former French Minister of Culture, toured the Abu Dhabi Art and its many community spaces accompanied by the fair director, Dyala Nusseibeh.

Saif Saeed Ghobash, director-general of the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi, was joined by Richard Armstrong, director of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and Foundation at the fair where they visited the ?Focus: Beyond Territory section which introduces a group of inter-generational artists and major projects from both emerging and leading galleries.
