The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation of the explosion

The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation of the explosion that took place near St. Mark Church in Alexandria, killing and wounding a number of people.
The Foreign Ministry in a statement said attacking religious sites desecrates their sanctity. The statement also condemned the reoccurrence of such actions in Egypt, describing it as a horrible crime.
The statement reiterated Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of the motives and reasons.The statement extended condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of victims and the Egyptian people, wishing the injured speedy recovery.
