Mixed collection London - Arabstoday NET-A-PORTER.COM, the world's premier online luxury retailer, announced the launch of Marni's ready-to-wear clothing line for fall/winter 2012. Reminiscent of the 1960s, the collection features drop-waist trousers, over-sized shoulder pads, pop-art color schemes and oriental touches. "For pre-fall, I updated traditional fabrics by juxtaposing them with fur and girlish embroideries," says Consuelo Castiglioni, who launched the cult label in 1994. Now in its second decade, the forward-thinking brand continues to evolve and reflect the style zeitgeist. Though the bohemian silhouettes and trademark mules have given way to sharp tailoring and super-sized accessories, the irreverent and individualistic spirit at the heart of Marni remains unchanged.
