Media host, Mohammed al-Ghaiti
Cairo – Islam Khairy

Media host, Mohammed al-Ghaiti revealed that, his talk show “Wake Up “ which is aired on LTC channel will not be stopped in Ramadan, and it will be continued in a new theme that suits the audience during this month.

He said during an interview with “Arab Today” that, the program will be developed in a surprise way, where the segment of “Stories” will be aired daily during the show in Ramadan. This segment was a huge success in the past, but this year it will be different. “Stories” is a tent where number of celebrities and politicians are hosted to talk about different topics.

He expressed his happiness over his show “Wake up” since it was aired on El Tahrir Channel until it was moved to its current channel LTC. He attributed this success to his honesty with the audience, their affection towards him, continuous work to catch news, presenting all points of views without any prejudice, and dealing with current events from different perspectives. All these elements raised the viewing rate up to 200 million viewers on YouTube.

He also expressed his resentment over the current media field due to lack of disciplines and reliable resources, saying that, some hosts depend on opinions not facts in order to attract more audience and advertisements, with zero concern to their topics’ quality.

He said that, the official media of the state “Maspero” is technically dead due to lack of influence on public opinion, stressing the need to revive the official media of the country, as it focuses on the good on the country on the first place, especially when owners of private channels have their own agenda to achieve.
