Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan
Ankara - Arab Today

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that they have radar information and forensic reports which show that the Syrian regime attacked Khan Sheikhoun with chemical weapons.Erdogan held a television interview that was reported by Anadolu Agency and dismissed the Syrian government's story that the chemicals came from a depot of a terrorist organization. He said that NATO also had all the radar information on the incident. Erdogan stressed that the Syrian regime still has chemical weapons, adding that he will look to bring that up in all international gatherings.
The President of Turkey said that the use of chemical weapons should not divert the international community's attention from the Syrian regime's violence using regular weapons. He noted that the majority of the killings in the crisis were with traditional weaponry. Erdogan expressed support for the U.S. air strike on Shayrat air base in Syria, but stressed that it should not be the end.
More than a 100 civilians were killed and 500 injured in an alleged chemical attacks by the Syrian regime on the city of Khan Sheikhon. The attack drew worldwide condemnation.
