Suez Canal security managed on Wednesday to arrest a tourist bus driver before smuggling half ton of marijuana from North Sinai to Port Said.
Security agencies had received a tip-off that driver Mahmoud M. S was trying to smuggle the drug in a place under his seat the matter which prompted the security agencies to take measures to arrest him before the smuggling.
Some 217 packets of Marijuana drug, also known as bhang, weighing about 500 kilos were seized while all legal measures were taken against the driver who was referred to the prosecution.
