Pedestrians stop thief, return SR186,000 in Jeddah
A man stole a sum of SR186,000

While a Saudi citizen was in a shop, a man stole a sum of SR186,000 ($49,593) from him and took off in a car.
The robbed man asked pedestrians for help, and another citizen tracked the thief, stopped him and recovered the money, but the thief managed to escape.
Consequently, the victim informed security authorities, who circulated information about the thief and his car.
Within a short period of time, security officers in Jeddah seized the car and its driver, who admitted to the robbery in cooperation with another person who works at the shop in which the robbery had taken place.
Preliminary indications were completed and the two were arrested to be transferred to the Public Prosecution
