Grape phenolics
Tehran - FNA

Widely popular, grapes are regarded in many cultures as “the queen of fruits," since centuries. These tiny berries are the storehouse of numerous health promoting phyto-nutrients such as poly-phenolic antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. No wonder why many of us include them as an integral part of our diet, whether in the form of fresh table fruits, juice, or in salads.
Even its seeds are beneficial. They normally go to landfills as waste, but grape seeds and skin are full of antioxidants, and researchers used enzymes to extract the nutritious elements in recent studies. But by using cellulase, pectinase and glucosidase, scientists found the grape seeds and skins aren’t just waste products. The enzymes increase the antioxidant activity, from the grape seeds and skins. New uses could include food additives or nutritional supplements.
Grape phenolics serve as anti-inflammatory agents, can reduce the risk of certain cancers and help prevent high blood pressure and heart disease and many other values that God has mentioned in the holy Quran several times (Ar-Rad, Chapter 13, Verse 4, Al-Anaam, Chapter 6, Verse 99, An-Nahl, Chapter 16, Verse 11, Al-Isra, Chapter 17, Verse 91, Al-Mumenoon, Chapter 23, Verse 19, Abasa, Chapter 80, Verse 28, An-Nahl, Chapter 16, Verse 11).
Some of health benefits of grapes are as follows:

Though, the dark grape juice might not give an iron boost and on the other hand, decrease the iron levels. Drinking grape juice also provides you with instant energy. The anti-oxidants present in grapes also provide the needed boost to your immune system.
Kidney disorders: Grapes can substantially reduce the acidity of the uric acid and helps in the elimination of the acid from the system, thereby reducing the work pressure of kidneys.
