Curry Leaves and Coconut Oil Hair Massage

By eating these leaves or applying their paste to the hair, you can prevent considerable hair loss. You can also use it as an effective hair tonic. Boil some curry leaves in coconut hair oil, apply it on your scalp, and massage it gently for 15-20 minutes. Use this procedure twice a week for better hair growth.

Fenugreek (Methi)

Fenugreek commonly known as methi is an age-old home remedy for hair growth problems. The nicotinic acid and proteins contained in this herb is known to promote stimulation of hair growth. Methi can be used in the form of paste that can be applied on the hair and scalp, leave for some time and then wash off with water. You can also use it by frying its seeds in coconut oil, cooling and straining the preparation. Apply this mixture in small quantity on the scalp by rubbing softly at the hair roots. Indian Gooseberry (Amla)

Gooseberry or amla is rich in vitamin C and can help in the strengthening and growth of hair. All you need is to take a few amla, discard the seeds, and grind it to make a powder/pulp. Mix 2 teaspoons of this pulp with equal amounts of lemon juice and massage the scalp with this mixture. Let it dry for an hour and rinse it off with plenty of warm water.

Aloe Vera

This is the best treatment that helps to fight with various skin problems, body problems as well as hair problems naturally. Aloe vera is the best hair loss treatment that stops hair fall and promotes their growth. The various scalp problems such as itching and flaking, and dandruff can also be reduced using this home remedy. For this you require to take an aloe vera leaf, extract the pulp, and apply it to your scalp as well as hair. Leave it for around 45 minutes to an hour to allow aloe vera show its magic and then rinse it off with normal water.

Onion Juice

Onion juice is regarded as the most effective and oldest home remedy for preventing hair loss and to promote re-growth of hair. The high sulphur content of onions boosts collagen production in tissues, improves blood circulation to hair follicles, and kills the parasites and germs with its anti-bacterial properties. Cut some slices of onion, grind them, and squeeze out the juice. Apply this onion juice onto the scalp for 10 to 15 minutes, leave it for some time, and then wash it off with a mild shampoo, cleanser, and water. Apart from these treatments, it is recommended not to use unsuitable hair products and remain away from hair curlers, straightening, and other styling process that produce heat on hair.
